FIRESTOP Inspection Hatch
The FIRESTOP Inspection Hatch is a lightweight, cost effective inspection hatch for plasterboard walls and ceilings with some unique features. Size is 300x300mm with a pleasing powder-coated off-white finish.
No framing required The ultra-light new nano technology used in this hatch means the overall weight is only 2.6Kg. The FIRESTOP Inspection Hatch can be attached directly to the plasterboard with no framing required.
No stopping or painting The unique design of the FIRESTOP Inspection Hatch means that the entire frame is covered by the aesthetically pleasing powder-coated cover which folds over to meet the plasterboard - no gaps, no holes, and no stopping or painting required.
No sealant needed The proprietary intumescent sealing strip does all the work in stopping smoke or flame penetrating the hatch. No messy sealant needed.
Simple to install So simple to install with standard tools. Cut the hole, fit the frame with the supplied screws, and attach the cover. That's all you do.
Fire-rated for 60minutes Tested by BRANZ and FireTSLab to AS1530.4-2014. Suitable for all fire-rated wall, ceiling or floor/ceiling systems up to 60/60/60.
