3M™ Fire Barrier FS-195+ Wrap/Strip
Used to firestop metallic and non metallic pipes, insulated pipes and cable bundles.Can be used with the 3M™ Fire Barrier RC-1 Restricting Collar or with caulk in "in-hole" applications. Available in 24 - inch (609 mm) strips, one or two inches (25 or 50 cm) wide.
FEATURES
One-part, fire-resistive wraps with foil on one side that are designed to firestop penetrations in fire-rated floor, wall and floor/ceiling assemblies. These intumescent wraps provide up to 4 hours of fire protection in tested and listed systems.
APPLICATION
Used for "in-hole" firestop installations or in conjunction with 3M™ Fire Barrier RC-1 Restricting Collars. When the wrap is installed "in-hole" in conjunction with a 3M™ Fire Barrier Sealant or Moldable Putty+, it also provides a cold smoke seal, which helps prevent the spread of toxic gases and other combustion by-products even before heat initiates the intumescent process. Available in 2 in. x 24 in. strips (50.8 mm x 609 mm).
